The Federal Trade Commission updated their Endorsement Guide in September 2017.  The Endorsement Guide is set to ensure readers/viewers of online content (blogs, videos, etc…) know if the writer/presenter is sponsored or endorsed by a different company.  If the writer/presenter is paid by a company to endorse their product, you as the consumer need to be aware of biased content.

Affiliate Marketing

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume that any and/or all links on are affiliate links.  This means we receive compensation from sales of certain items.  We only recommend products we believe to be of high value based on personal experience or after thorough and comprehensive research.  There is no additional cost to you.  When a purchase is made, the price you pay as a consumer will be the same as going directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.

While some links are affiliate links, others will take you to additional content within or to helful external websites.
